Where You Can See Reading's Artbox Murals: Map

READING, MA — Downtown Reading just got a little more artsy with the addition of seven original murals and nearly a dozen artbox pieces.

The project, commissioned by the Planning and Economic Development Division, is designed to encourage foot traffic downtown and celebrate Reading's community pride. Featured artists include Catherine Johnson, Kim Garrity Matthews, Megan Coram, Ruth Clark, Matt Baynes, Ethan Bennett and Steve Greco.

The artbox project involved vinyl-wrapping utility boxes with historic images of Reading. The project was commissioned by the Historical Commission and done by graphic designer Franklin Marval.
