Woman Charged With OUI, Leaving Scene Of Accident In Reading: Police
A woman is facing accusations she hit a stop sign while driving drunk in Reading earlier this week, police said.
READING, MA — A woman was charged with OUI and leaving the scene of an accident in Reading, according to police.
Police responded to John Street on Tuesday at 11:25 p.m. on a report of a vehicle that crashed into a stop sign after driving over the curve, then drove away toward Walker's Brook Drive.
Police found the vehicle on Walker's Brook Drive in the Stop & Shop parking lot. The vehicle had significant front-end damage, police said.

The driver, Crystal Nguyen, 37, of Boston, failed a field sobriety test, according to police.
Nguyen was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and leaving the scene of property damage.

She was arraigned in Woburn District Court on Wednesday.
