Woman Reportedly Assaulted in Reading

The following is an excerpt from the log from Monday through Tuesday. The information is open to the public.
Tuesday, June 26
- At 1:18 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on High Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 2:21 p.m., a caller reported being assaulted the night before by her ex-boyfriend in the Washington Street area.
- At 3:07 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
- At 7:51 p.m., the by a male who passed a note to a cashier asking for money. The note also said that he had an explosive attached to his body. The male left with $200.
- At 10:19 p.m., a caller reported youths gathering on Washington Street. Police spoke to the youths who were just sitting and talking. They were advised of the complaint.

- At 8:38 a.m., a caller reported harassing phone calls from a credit card company.
- At 2:45 p.m., a Kingston Street resident reported that his credit card number was used without his permission.
- At 2:59 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on General Way. No injuries were reported.
- At 5:31 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
- At 7 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Walkers Brook Drive. A car crashed into a ditch and was partially submerged in water. The car was towed from the scene.
