Zaya Officially Appointed to Assistant Principal for Athletics and Extra-Curricular Activities

Reading Memorial High School Principal Principal Kevin Higginbottom announced this week that Tom Zaya has been officially appointed to the position of Assistant Principal for Athletics and Extra-Curricular Activities, according to Reading Public Schools. Zaya has been the Interim Assistant Principal for Athletics and Extra-curricular Activities for the current school year and "has done an excellent job fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of this position," according to a recent press release.

Before taking his current position, Zaya was the Health and Wellness Department Chair at RMHS. He was also on the Board of Directors for the Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse. 

"In his interim role, Tom has displayed a dedication to serving the student-athletes, families and coaching staff of the RMHS Athletic programs and we are pleased that his efforts will continue into the future," the press release said.
