5 Things July 9: Flaherty Pool Block Party Cookout for Free!
Jenny Nkwah, 14, of Roslindale, has been missing from home since October, and has been seen around the area. Have you seen her?

- Tonight rom 5:30-7:30 p.m., there will be a Flaherty Pool Block Party including a free cookout with Boston Centers for Youth & Families hosting the re-opening celebration for the BCYF Flaherty Pool. Mayor Thomas Menino is expected to be in attendance for the ribbon cutting at 6:30 p.m. 160 Florence St.
- On Thursday enjoy a concert in Roslindale Village. See The Marshalls play at Adams Park, hosted by the Boston Parks Dept. 6-7:30 p.m.
- The Roslindale Public Library may be renovated, and opinions, ideas and concerns are wanted from residents. There are two ways for residents to be involved: Come to the next meeting of the Community Advisory Committee on July 31 at 6 p.m. at the branch library; or submit your comments by email to cschonhart@bpl.org.
