5 Things: Music by Patti DeRosa, Fun with Nefertiti at Farmers' Market
Registration is now open to win the 15th annual Mayor of Roslindale contest to help raise funds for the Roslindale Day Parade.

- The Roslindale Village Farmers' Market on Saturday is open from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Adams Park. Musical performance by Patti DeRosa at 11 a.m., children's activites with Nefertiti at 10 a.m., and a special Agricultural Hall Gardening and Canning Workshop.
- Registration is now open to win the 15th annual Mayor of Roslindale contest to help raise funds for the Roslindale Day Parade. Prospective candidates solicit donations for $1 each, with each dollar counting as one vote. The winner of the contest will be honored as this year’s “Mayor of Roslindale” in the 38th annual parade on October 6, 2013. Click here to register.
- Rece's Pieces and Leets II opened at 18B Corinth St., in March, is the second location of the business with the first being in Framingham. Stop by for haircuts, shaving, detailing, braiding, and more.
