5 Things: Roslindale Green & Clean Hosting Plant Sale at Farmers' Market
This week's new vendors at the Roslindale Village Farmers' Market include Follow the Honey, Violette Gluten Free, Hickory Nut Farm, Nola's Fresh Foods, and Sprouted Raw Foods.

- Last week's opening day was the biggest in the 28 years of the Roslindale Village Farmers' Market, which drew 2,800 people. This week new vendors include: Follow the Honey, Violette Gluten Free, Hickory Nut Farm, Nola's Fresh Foods, and Sprouted Raw Foods.
- Roslindale Green & Clean is hosting a plant sale at the Farmer's Market at Adams Park on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - or until they sell out! For sale will be a wide variety of sun and shade plants, including shrubs, perennials, vines, ground covers and even some vegetables. All will be sold at very attractive prices and the proceeds will benefit Roslindale Green & Clean, the non-profit that maintains many of the green spaces around Roslindale Square. Knowledgeable staffers will be on hand to help customers make the right choices for their gardens.
- The West Roxbury YMCA is leading a free Zumba class from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. at the farmers' market behind the memorial adjacent to the children's area.
- In the children's area at the farmers' market, Kasey Appelman will be leading an art class using recycled materials from 10 a.m. to noon. This is a free fun event for kids!
- On Monday, come eat popcorn and learn about water with GreeningRozzie is screening "Tapped," a documentary film about drinking water. Roslindale Community Center, 6 Cummins Highway. 6:30-8:30 p.m.
