5 Things: Roslindale Village Dental Opening; and PRC Run Postponed
Due to a forecast of high winds and rain, tonight's Parkway Running Club Highland Hash Fun Run is postponed.

- POSTPONED - Due to a forecast of high winds and rain, tonight's Parkway Running Club Highland Hash Fun Run is postponed. No future run date was immediately announced.
- Roslindale Village Dental will be opening in one of the new retail spaces at 4238 Washington St. The practice will be a private family dental practice owned and operated by Dr. Aliakbar Esmaeli, D.D.S. Dr. Ali, as he likes to be called, is excited to make his new practice family-focused, and keep an eye out at the Farmers' Market for his guest booth. He'll be giving away free toothbrushes and teach good dental hygiene when at the market.
- Registration is now open to win the 15th annual Mayor of Roslindale contest to help raise funds for the Roslindale Day Parade. Prospective candidates solicit donations for $1 each, with each dollar counting as one vote. The winner of the contest will be honored as this year’s “Mayor of Roslindale” in the 38th annual parade on October 6, 2013. Click here to register.
