Daily 5: Creek River String Band; Rozzie Bikes Free Tune-Ups
Check out the Roslindale Village Farmers' Market for a free bike tune-up and fresh produce.
- There is live free music at Select Cafe on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. 2 Belgrade Ave.
- On Saturday enjoy a free showing of 'Back to the Future' at Adams Park in Roslindale Village. Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. and the movie begins at 8 pm. There will be summer give-aways, facepainting, and popcorn for all who attend.
- At the Roslindale Village Farmers' Market on Saturday at Adams Park from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Creek River String Band will be playing at 11 a.m., with Nefertiti providing children's activities at 10 a.m. The New England Aquarium’s Traveling Tide Pool will be in Adams Park as a special event. Bring your bike because Rozzie Bikes is offering free bike tune-ups and there is free yoga with Open Doors Yoga Studios at 9 a.m.
- On Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m., there is a free wine tasting at Solera - A Shrine to Wine at 16 Birch St. Remember to bring your ID.
- The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company offers free Shakespeare On The Common throughout the month of July. Upcoming performances of “The Two Gentlemen of Verona” are scheduled for July 23-26 at 8 p.m. For reserved chairs and to order picnic boxes, visit www.commshakes.org.
