District 5 Ballot Order Set for September's Preliminary Election
There are eight candidates for the District 5 City Council preliminary election in September.
Boston's District 5 will have a new city councilor come November due to current councilor Rob Consalvo running for mayor - and voters will have their choice of eight candidates from Roslindale, Hyde Park, and Mattapan.
The ballot order for the preliminary election is set for the Sept. 24 preliminary election, with the two candidates with the most votes (regardless of political party) advancing to the Nov. 5 final.
The following is the ballot order for District 5:

- Jean-Claude Sanon
- Margherita Ciampa-Coyne
- Ava D. Callender
- Andrew Norman Cousino
- Mimi E. Turchinetz
- Timothy P. McCarthy
- Patrice Gattozzi
