Gas Station Customer Punched, Robbed in Roslindale

A gas station customer trying to pay for gas at 3 a.m. in Roslindale was punched and robbed by a suspect who fled in a getaway car with two other occupants.
Around 3:05 a.m. on June 2, Boston Police met with the victim at the Emporium Gas Station at 3875 Washington St., who was bleeding from his mouth, and had some blood on his shirt, according to a Boston Police report.

The victim and the gas station employee told police the same story; That the victim was about to pay $40 in cash to the employee through the cashier's drawer when the suspect grabbed the money from him, refused to give it back, and punched the victim in the mouth.
The suspect then got into a red Honda Accord being driven by a black male with dreadlocks, and a female in the front passenger seat, according to a police report. The vehicle traveled down Washington Street towards Forest Hills.
