Roslindale Weekend: Rozzie Food Tour; Battle of the Arts & Summer Fest; and Wine!

Looking for something to do this weekend in and around Roslindale? How about these three, which have multiple components like clowns, drinking wine and eating cheese, and free yoga.
- The Roslindale Village Farmers' Market is at Adams Park on Sat., Aug. 3 with free yoga with Open Doors Yoga Studios at 9 a.m. This week's children’s activity is Davey the Clown at 10 a.m. There will be music by Lenny Solomon at 11 a.m. Special events includes the YMCA Teen Program on hand, a Roslindale Food Tour with Chef Lester Esser - a 3-hour guided tour through Roslindale Village, with Personal Chef Lester Esser of the farmers' market and more than a dozen surrounding ethnic and gourmet shops (click on the link to sign up beforehand), and an On the Edge Knife Sharpening demo.
- Also on Saturday is a free wine tasting at Solera - A Shrine to Wine at 16 Birch St., from 5 to 7 p.m. Remember to bring your ID.
- Also on Saturday starting at 3 p.m. in Hyde Park at the DCR Martini Hatch Shell, 1015 Truman Pkwy, join the DCR Rangers and the Hyde Park Art Association for a free, fun family event. Local artists (age 16 and older) are invited to showcase their artistic talents in action for public viewing and voting!
