Search Warrant Yields 24 Bags of Crack, Roslindale Man Arrested

A Roslindale man was arrested after a search warrant allegedly yielded 24 plastic bags of crack from a Washington Street apartment.
On Feb. 22 around 11:14 a.m., James A. Frederick, of 3964 Washington St. #2, Roslindale, was arrested and charged on possession of drugs with the intent to distribute.

Members of the E-5/E-18 Drug Control Unit executed a search warrant at the suspect's apartment, and gained access to his home, according to a Boston Police report. Two other individuals in the apartment were searched and not found to have contraband in their possession.
The suspect admitted to having drugs, lifting his sock, to show officer, after being asked if there were drugs or weapons. An officer was also directed by the suspect to his bedroom where drugs were located.

Police confiscated 24 plastic bags of a beige rock-like substance found on a table in the suspect's bedroom, according to a Boston Police report. A razor was also found on the table and seized.
