Suya Joint: Rozzie's Nigerian Restaurant on Global Stage

Have you been to Roslindale Village's Suya Joint restaurant yet? Maybe this will wet your whistle - it was the only American restaurant chosen out of 5 as African restaurants on the global stage by Africastyledaily.com.

"Although Nigeria’s wealth runs deep into oil wells, an extension of its rich culture can be found (along with another type of oil called palm) deep down in a bowl of goat pepper stew or Jollof rice at Suya Joint in Boston, Massachusetts. Boston’s only Nigerian restaurant, offers casual and comfortable dining decor, and authentic West African cuisine.  Inspired by her grandmother who owns an eatery in Nigeria, Nigerian – born chef, Cecelia Lizotte offers up aromatic dishes full of flavor to both nostalgic Nigerians desiring a “back home” experience and Bostonians in search for something fresh and exotic," wrote AfricaStyleDaily.com.

The other four restaurants are located in Dubai, England, Thailand, and Australia.

Suya Joint is located at 25 Poplar Street in Roslindale Village.
