West Roxbury Man Allegedly Admits to Hit-and-Run in Roslindale

A hit-and-run suspect allegedly admitted to Boston Police from his home in West Roxbury that he didn't mean for the accident to happen in Roslindale.
On June 6 around 11 a.m., Kenneth James Butler, of 30 Caspar St., West Roxbury, was arrested on a default warrant out of Dedham District Court for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a speeding violation, according to a Boston Police report.
The hit and run report was originally taken by the Massachusetts State Police, and they would file for the suspect's charges in regards to that incident, according to the police report.

Boston Police were notified of the hit and run at 1200 Centre St., in Roslindale, by the State Police, and were able to learn the vehicle used in the incident was registered to an individual at 30 Caspar St., in West Roxbury.
Police spoke with the owner of the vehicle who said he had not driven the car, but that his son, the suspect, had possibly driven it. Police spoke with the suspect, who said he never meant for the accident to happen. Police learned he had a warrant for his arrest while speaking with him.
