Which Roslindale Residents are Running for Office?

There are no Roslindale residents running for Boston mayor or the at-large city council.

 

No Roslindale resident submitted nomination papers to run for Boston mayor or the at-large city council.

The majority of Roslindale is represented by the District 5 city councilor, currently Hyde Park's Rob Consalvo, who is running for mayor.

There are 10 candidates who submitted nomination papers for the District 5 seat, with three being from Roslindale - Wayne Edelen Beitler, Andrew Norman Cousino, and Michael E. Wells III. 

A smaller portion of Roslindale is represented by District 4, with incumbent Charles Yancey having submitted nomination papers for both the district seat and the mayoral election. He hasn't decided what he'll run for yet. There are eight candidates who submitted papers for this race, including Roslindale's Steven Godfrey, a community organizer.

Signatures will be certified by the City's Registrar by June 25 for candidates to appear on the September 24 election ballot.
