Woman Bit by Dog in Roslindale After Breaking Up Dog Fight
A woman was taken to the hospital after breaking up a dog fight between two pit bulls.

A Roslindale woman was taken to Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital on Tuesdsay after breaking up a dog fight on Ridge Street.
The 52-year-old woman called Boston Animal Control to her Ridge Street apartment around 8:30 a.m, according to Boston.com. The woman was bit on her hand trying to break up a fight between two pit bulls.

The woman asked that the dog that bit her be removed, and animal control officers took custody of the 5-year-old pit bull, reported Boston.com. There was no further information on the woman's injuries.
The dogs lived in the building, and it was not clear if she owned one of the animals.
