'Chronic Exhibitionist' From Peabody Arrested In Salem

SALEM, MA — Police arrested a Peabody man described as a "chronic exhibitionist" after a woman who was babysitting a child saw him in bushes at Forest River Park in Salem.

Donald Sauve, 63, of Peabody, pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges of open and gross lewdness (subsequent offense), wanton and lascivious conduct and indecent exposure. Sauve is a level three sex offender with convictions dating back to 1988, according to the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board.

Sauve was arrested Wednesday after the woman saw him with his pants down and flagged down a Salem State University police officer, the Salem News reported. Sauve was ordered held on $5,000 cash bail at his arragnment Thursday.
