Flash Book Sale at Athenaeum on Friday

Salem, MA - You need books - fast. What are you going to do?

If you are near Salem on Friday, you can stop by the Salem Athenaeum's Flash Book Sale from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Thanks to the generosity of the Athenaeum's members and friends, it already has quite a few books for the Athenaeum's Annual Book Sale.

Unfortunately,that book sale it is not until September and they are nearly out of storage.

There aren't many kids' books yet, but they do have a wide variety of fiction including many offerings by the prolific E. Philips Oppenheim and non-fiction on a rich variety of subjects.

The book sale will be held on the second floor of the Athenaeum at 337 Essex Street.
