Flea/Salvage/Art Market Comes to Derby Square

The market will take place the third Saturday of the month from May through September.

SALEM, MA - Derby Square has been a bustling marketplace for two centuries, and this spring and summer promises to be even busier, thanks to the new Derby Square Flea/Salvage/Art (FSA) Market.

Mayor Kimberly Driscoll recently announced that the Derby Square FSA will happen once a month from May through September.

The Market is a City of Salem Art Space Initiative in collaboration with CDP Productions which seeks to engage Derby Square as a vibrant marketplace in the heart of historic Salem, according to Driscoll.

Derby Square has been a bustling marketplace since 1816, and this market will highlight a rich culture that has existed in Salem for hundreds of years.

In celebration of the bicentennial year, the Derby Square FSA will hold monthly markets on the third Saturday from May through September from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The market will feature vendors of vintage and up-cycled furniture & fashion; collectibles, antiques, architectural salvage; as well as jewelry, art, & handmade goods by local and regional artisans.
