Fugitive From California Found Living In Salem
In addition to the charges in California, Matthew Breen, 47, is facing charges here after assaulting police officers and resisting arrest.
SALEM, MA — Salem police arrested a contractor wanted in California for defrauding customers, according to the Salem News, which first reported this story. Matthew Breen, 47, was wanted in California on 14 charges, including grand theft, diversion of funds, elder abuse, identity theft, fraudulent use of a contractor's license number and home improvement contracting without a license. After trying to flee when Salem police detectives arrested him, Breen was also charged with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.
