Residents Escape 'Heavily-Involved' House Fire In Salem
The two-story wood structure is on Eden Street in Salem.

SALEM, MA — Firefighters have what was initially described as "heavily-involved" fire on Eden Street in Salem under control, according to scanner reports. All occupants of the house escaped safely.
Firefighters worked for several hours to secure the building, only to be called back to the scene late Tuesday afternoon when the fire rekindled.
Crews from Beverly and Peabody provided mutual aid. The two-story structure at 16 Eden Street is a five-bedroom house currently in foreclosure, according to property records.
