How Sweet It Is: Topsfield Fair Harvest Bake Contest Winners
Topsfield, Lawrence and Salem residents took home the top prizes at this year's event supporting local farmstands.
TOPSFIELD, MA — It was a tasty day at the Topsfield Fair with three winners announced at the annual Fall Harvest Baked Sweet Treat Contest.
The contest requires entrants to create a baked sweet treat using a fruit or vegetable that is harvested in the fall from a local farmstand.
Casey Heffernan of Topsfield was the first-place winner, with Rebecca Jani of Lawrence second and Abigail Graumann of Salem third.

Each of the contestants received a gift certificate to Mann's Orchard in Methuen and a ribbon from the Topsfield Fair.
