Massachusetts Lifts Vape Ban For Cannabis Stores
A day after the state lifted its ban on vape products for nicotine, the Cannabis Control Commission said pot dealers could also resume sales

WORCESTER, MA — The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission gave the go-ahead Thursday for the state's recreational marijuana retailers to resume sales of electronic cigarettes and other vaping products. The ruling at the commission's monthly meeting in Worcester comes one day after the Baker administration dropped its ban on the sale of vape products for ingesting nicotine.
Retailers will have to sell newly-manufactured vaping products under the amended Cannabis Control Commission order, and those products will have to be tested for contaminants before they can be sold. The commission puts its moratorium in place on Nov. 12 after more than 90 illnesses linked to the devices were reported in Massachusetts.
As part of an ongoing investigation, the Cannabis Control Commission has tested 91 samples of regulated vaping products and found no detectable levels of vitamin E acetate at this time. Review the data: https://t.co/UfzOiFXrlm
