Mayor's Trick-or-Treat, Free Admission to Attractions Planned for Friday Evening

The Mayor's Night Out is Friday night, with Mayor Kimberley Driscoll joining kids trick-or-treating and free admission to many attractions.

Salem residents will have a night full of Trick-or-Treating and free admission to many attractions as the month-long Haunted Happenings festivities kick into high gear on Friday.

Mayor Kimberley Driscoll will be joined by kids to go trick-or-treating up and down the Essex Street pedestrian mall, through the shops at Museum Place Mall and beyond on Friday, Oct. 3. Trick-or-Treat Bags will be provided by Salem Witch Museum and costumes are encouraged.

Before trick-or-treating starts, there will be a Pumpkin Painting Party at Artist Row, put on by the Salem Collective of Artists and Musicians, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with snacks, music and surprises.

For all ages, Salem residents with Photo Identification are admitted free to many attractions, all listed below. Children may use school ID, a bus pass or library card, Parking in the Museum Place Mall and South Harbor garages will also be free for Salem residents after 4 p.m. For more information, call 978-745-9595 x5676.
