Moulton and Tisei to Debate Six Times Before Election Day, Starting Friday in Lynn
Candidates for the Sixth District seat in Congress, one who will succeed outgoing Congressman John Tierney, will debate at least six times.

After Seth Moulton backed out of a joint appearance with Richard Tisei on Wednesday night, the candidates for Congress in the Sixth District have at least six debates leading up to the Nov. 4 election.
Moulton, a Democrat from Salem, and Tisei, a Republican from Wakefield, are seeking the Sixth Congressional District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Independent candidate Chris Stockwell of Marblehead is also in the race.
Last month, Moulton defeated nine-term incumbent U.S. Rep. John Tierney (D-Salem) in the Democratic primary. In 2012, Tisei came within 4,000 votes of defeating Tierney in the general election.
