North Shore-Based Girls U-6 Flag Football Team Wins Disney Title
The team includes players from Salem, Saugus, Lynn, Wakefield and Winthrop.

SALEM, MA — A girls U-6 flag football team with several players from the North Shore recently won the championship at the World Championships held at the Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World.
The girls were playing together for the very first time and took the national stage on by storm. They went 5-1 in the tournament.
Flag football will be an Olympic sport for the first time in Los Angeles in 2028.

The girls are based out of Lynn, Revere, Salem, New Hampshire, Winthrop, Saugus, Wakefield , New York, Ohio and OKC.
The players were Lovely Edwards of Lynn, Gracelynn Badera of Butler, CT, Lucy McKansas of Saugus, Zahara Allen of New Hampshire, Brooklyn Wilson of Oklahoma City, Emma Marsden of Winthrop, Isabelle Chaitman of Wakefield, Hailey Hunter of Ohio, Mila Weis of New York and Avianni Cruz-Baez of Salem.
