North Shore Community Picnic Set For Salem's Winter Park Island

SALEM, MA — The public is invited as Plummer Youth Promise plans an afternoon of games, music, food and community on Winter Island in Salem next weekend.

The community picnic will be at the oceanside field where attendees can fly their own kites, play in a cornhole tournament, get faces painted and more. Those attending can also take a hard-hat tour of the new building being constructed on campus.

This is a free community event to attend.

Those who would like to purchase a table under the tent with a prepared picnic lunch for a family or group can purchase tickets for that here.

Plummer’s mission is to set a standard of excellence that improves outcomes for young people in or at risk of entering state care by deeply engaging youth, families, and the systems that impact them to develop permanent family relationships, skills, and community connections.
