North Shore Doctor Accused Of Sex Abuse Turns To Consulting
Celebrity psychiatrist Ketith Ablow has been promoting his consulting company and wellness center since his medical license was suspended.
SALEM, MA — Dr. Keith Ablow, the 57-year-old Newbury psychiatrist who settled three of the four lawsuits filed against him by former patients who accused him of sexual misconduct last month, is trying his hand at consulting. Ablow has been promoting Keith Ablow Creative, a "boutique consulting company to writers, artists, inventors, entrepreneurs and thought leaders." He has also been promoting offering counseling, holistic remedies and an on-site cottage that clients can use as a private retreat.
Ablow, who was a Fox News correspondent until 2017, is appealing the state's suspension of his medical license. The settlements let Ablow "focus his attention and resources on overturning the Board of Medicine's order of temporary suspension, so that he can restore his medical license and resume helping patients into the future, as he has countless times in the past," Paul Cirel, Ablow's attorney, told the Salem News last month. The trial in the fourth case is scheduled to begin this month.
State corporation records show that Ablow formed his consulting company in 2006, but he has stepped up the promotion of both businesses on his social media accounts in recent weeks. "Keith has contacts in the United States and around the world, in a wide variety of industries, including publishing, entertainment, public relations, journalism, health care, manufacturing and banking. You can make his network, your network," the company says on its Website.

Ablow has repeatedly denied the allegations in the lawsuits. Together, the four lawsuits claim that Ablow took advantage of women after gaining their trust. The lawsuits depict degrading sexual activities, some of which took place during sessions the woman were billed for. One woman claims Ablow said "I own you" and "You are my slave" while they were having sex.
As a Fox News contributor, Ablow drew criticism for his on-air suggestion that then-First Lady Michelle Obama needed "to drop a few pounds."
