Summer Catch: North Shore Baseball Players Need A Place To Stay This Season

The New England Collegiate Baseball League squad is looking for North Shore families to provide a place for players to stay this summer.

LYNN, MA — Some very talented college baseball players are in need of a place to stay as they play the summer season on the North Shore.

The North Shore Navigators of the New England Collegiate Baseball League are seeking host families for the upcoming season. The team brings in players from all over the country and needs some additional families to help put the players up before and after they take to the Lynn diamond.

Host families are asked to provide a bed, laundry facilities for personal items, and a parking spot for players with a car to get to and from the games. Some help with meals is appreciated, but the players are provided with food before and after games so the bed is the priority.

Host families will receive a stipend based on the number of players that they host, a season ticket for each family member, as well as a special North Shore Navigators gift package.

Players will need a place to stay shortly before the season starts on June 7 with the season running through early- to mid-August.
