Mr. Rosendo Habana 71, of Salem, formerly of Malabon, Philippines, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2014 at Salem Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer.
Born in the Philippines, he was raised and educated in the Philippines.

A Mechanical Engineer by trade, Mr. Habana had been employed for many years as a seaman in the shipping industry in the Middle East until the time of his retirement.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, Rosendo was an outgoing and happy person who was dedicated to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Rosendo is survived by his loving wife Corazon (Largo) Habana of Salem, his children, Marites Delosreyes and her husband Reynaldo of Salem, Rolando Habana and his wife Jeffrolynn of the Philippines and May Habana, his grandchildren, Nisha, Jero, Lovely, LJ, Sheenice, Juskyn and Nina.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hour in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 4-7 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 1-4 p.m. All other services will be held in the Philippines.
