Salem Academy Hires Bradford Hill To Guide Girls Basketball Program
The former state representative and Massachusetts Gaming Commission member brings 35 years of coaching experience to Salem.

SALEM, MA — Salem Academy is bringing well-known on the court and in state political circles to its sideline with the hiring of Bradford Hill as its new varsity girls basketball coach.
Hill is a former coach at Pingree School in Hamilton, Hamilton-Wenham High School, Manchester-Essex High School and the former St. Clement School of Medford. He also served the 4th Essex District as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1999 to 2021 and is a current member of the Massachusetts State Gaming Commission.
Coach Hill brings with him 35 years of basketball coaching experience to Salem Academy.

"When the opportunity became available to be a part of this team and school, I jumped at the chance to lead this squad," Hill said in a statement from the school. "I am very honored and humbled that the administration had the confidence in my coaching abilities to choose me to be the Navigators' next coach.
"I am looking forward to working with this group to enhance their skills and knowledge of this game we all love."
