Salem Boutique Named 'Best of Boston'

A children’s boutique that opened last year on Derby Street has been named one of the “Best of Boston” for 2014 by Boston magazine.

Petite Etoile was named best children’s boutique for the city’s north suburbs in the magazine’s August “Best of Boston” issue. It was the only Salem business that was named as part of the 41st annual list.

The magazine said the store, at 318 Derby St., “has every fashion accessory your little trendsetter needs.” Plus, the write-up also notes the store sells “fashionista-approved Fendi diaper bags.”

The store opened in October 2013 on the first floor of the Derby Lofts condominium building.
