Salem Principal Samantha Meier made the announcement in her daily video to students and families.
SALEM, MA — Salem High School will hold an in-person graduation ceremony on Aug. 7.
Principal Samantha Meier made the announcement Tuesday in her daily video to parents and families. Meier thanked students, families and staff members who had given feedback on how the school should honor graduates in light of the ongoing coronavirus restrictions.
The school had originally planned a virtual graduation ceremony, which would have been followed by a traditional commencement over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
