Salem To Offer Career, Technical Summer School Programs
For the first time, the district will offer free, exploratory programs for seventh and eighth graders in Salem Public Schools.
SALEM, MA — As part of its efforts to bolster summer education for students who missed out during a year of disrupted schooling amid the coronavirus crisis, Salem Public Schools is offering free career and technical exploratory programs.
Students in seventh and eighth grade can sign up for camps focusing on auto technology, early education and care, building property and maintenance, medical assisting, culinary arts, electrical as well as internships.
The first sessions will be June 21-25 with the second sessions on June 28-July 2. Camps run from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

Students and parents should use the forms received in an email from ParentSquare to sign up.
