The Salem Pantry Appoints New Board Of Directors Chair

SALEM, MA — Sean Monahan, a partner at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP, which represents banks and investors in a range of high-profile sports transactions and investments, was named the new Board of Directors Chair of The Salem Pantry.

The Salem Pantry said Monahan brings extensive leadership experience, and a proven
ability to address complex challenges and foster strong relationships.

Monahan replaces Bonnie Henry, who along with Rebecca Greene, helped guide the Pantry through the COVID-19 health crisis and during a time of growth and unprecedented demand.

"Bonnie and Rebecca have left a lasting impact on The Salem Pantry and I am grateful for the work that we have accomplished together," Executive Director Robyn Burns said. "I look
forward to collaborating with Sean to continue addressing the pressing need for food security in Salem and across the North Shore."

"I am honored to follow Bonnie as The Salem Pantry's Board Chair, and I am excited to work with Robyn, the staff and my fellow board members, as well as our volunteers, sponsors and donors, to provide convenient and reliable access to healthy food for our local and regional communities," Monahan said.
