Northside Carting Trash Truck Burns on Swampscott Road

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:
Tuesday, June 10:
- At 11:56 a.m., police responded to a three-car hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on North Street.
- At 1:10 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Oakland Street.
- At 3:07 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle near the intersection of Winter and Pickman streets. Adam T. Campbell, 25, of 240 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
- At 5:17 p.m., police responded to a possible water main break near the intersection of Butler and Albion streets.
- At 7:09 p.m., police responded to a possible fight on Washington Street.
- At 7:50 p.m., police responded to a medical overdose on Highland Avenue.
- At 8:04 p.m., police responded to a motorcycle accident on Goodhue Street.
- At 9:26 p.m., police responded to a past assault on Hanson Street.
- At 10:08 p.m., police responded to a report of a drunk man walking in the middle of the street near the intersection of North and Federal streets.
- At 11:02 p.m., police responded to a dispute between neighbors on Parlee Street.
Wednesday, June 11:
- At 6:42 a.m., police and fire units responded to a "fully involved" Northside Carting trash truck that was burning on Swampscott Road.
- At 7:03 a.m., police responded to a past sexual assault on Cleveland Street.
- At 10:01 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Congress Street.
- At 2:54 p.m., police responded to a possible fight on Washington Street. Steven J. Thackery, 21, of 7 Orange St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery of an elderly or disabled person and for reportedly violating the city's knife ordinance.
- At 4:08 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Loring Avenue.
Jillian M. Carlisle, 49, of 94 Orchard St., Salem, was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant.
Jennifer S. Cannell, 44, of 649 Shirley St., Winthrop, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
