Salem Power Outage To Keep National Grid Customers In Dark
The planned outage for parts of the Witch City was postponed until Thursday night.

SALEM, MA — A planned power outage that will keep some of the Witch City's National Grid customers in the dark on what could be one of the coldest nights of the early winter season was postponed to Thursday.
The outage, which had been scheduled for Wednesday prior to the night's rain forecast, will begin at 10 p.m. on Thursday and is set to conclude at about 6 a.m.
National Grid said the outage is necessary for power line work in the area.
