"Serving as a trustee is both an honor and a privilege," she said. "I understand that in accepting this role, I commit to doing my utmost in helping to create the best possible environment for teaching and learning.
"My experience as an undergraduate at Salem State University provided the foundation upon which I was able to build my professional career as an educator, school leader and school district administrator. There is no doubt in my mind that the lessons learned in SSU classrooms, along with the opportunities to serve as a student leader on campus, helped me to hone the skills needed to succeed in my chosen profession. I look forward to supporting students, educators and staff in ways that lead to ongoing growth and continued success."
