Salem Student Hygiene Product Drive Launched For New School Year
Residents can donate toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant and other care products for 2024 Back to School Fair distribution.
SALEM, MA — An effort to improve the mental health and confidence of Salem students in need through the distribution of personal hygiene products has bee launched through the Salem Children's Alliance and Mayor Dominick Pangallo's office.
The drive aims to collect toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, razors, shaving cream and other personal self-care items for distribution to students at the 2024 Back to School Fair.
Items can be dropped off at the City Hall Annex at 98 Washington Street in the box immediately across from the elevators on the third floor.

Businesses and community groups are also welcome to set up their own collection bins through Sarah Roy at sroy@salem.com.
All products should be new and in unopened packages. Donations will be accepted until Aug. 22.
