State DEP Site Visit for Salem Suede Redevelopment on Thursday Morning
The site visit on Flint Street is scheduled for Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
Salem, MA - The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection will be conducting a site visit to the former Salem Suede property on Thursday, March 3 at 9:30 a.m.
Developers are looking to create a mixed-use development at 72 Flint Street and 67 and 71 Mason Street at the former Salem Suede property.
The proposal for the Riverview Place development consists of three buildings and about 100 residential units.

The project has been before the city’s Conservation Commission and is within an area subject to the state’s Wetlands Protection Act and Salem’s Wetlands Protection & Conservation Ordinance.
