Water Main Repairs Likely to Last All Day Thursday

A water main break occurred early Thursday along Highland Avenue.

Repair work is expected to last through the day on Thursday after a 16-inch water main broke along Highland Avenue.

The break occurred before 6 a.m. near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Swampscott Road, according to a tweet from Mayor Kimberley Driscoll.

“Some service interruption likely in this area while repairs are made,” Driscoll said.
