Bachelor’s Degree
MA DESE Licensure in Special Education 5-12
Certification in CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hire and commitment to keep certification current
Certification in CPI within 30 days of hire and commitment to keep certification current
Obtain a 7-D license within 30 days of hire and commitment to keep license current
Participation in professional development that focuses on PBS & SCERTS approaches
Demonstrated ability to adapt and change instructional practices to meet the needs of an ever changing student population
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Special Education or current matriculation in a Special Education Master’s Degree Program
Skills, knowledge and experience to work with high school aged students with moderate cognitive, communication, social, motor and behavioral challenges in a public school setting
Ability to use technology to enhance instructional and professional responsibilities
Bachelor degree preferred
Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
