Seekonk Police Log April 10-12: Alleged Drunk Driver Strikes Another Vehicle

April 10

10:59 a.m. Caller reported a case of fraud, possible scam, at the Supreme Coffee and Donuts.

11:01 a.m. Caller reported  a case of larceny at the BJ’s.

11:55 a.m. Caller reported a party attempting to scam reporting party out of change at the Wild Birds Unlimited.

3:40 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run at Not Your Average Joe’s.

9:15 p.m. Caller reported a case of larceny on Arcade Avenue. Golf Clubs were reportedly taken from the trunk of a vehicle.

April 11

11:15 a.m. Caller reported a case of larceny at the High School.

April 12

4:02 a.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision on Read Street involving a tree and a utility pole.

9:29 a.m. Caller reported a case of vandalism on Arcade Avenue.

10:24 a.m. Caller reported a case of larceny at the Lowes Home Improvement store.

11:50 a.m. Caller reported  acase of larceny at the High School.

5:28 p.m. Brian Walsh, 59, of 68 Pershing Ave. was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an open container of alcohol ia vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Walsh was arrested after a caller reported he was allegedly all over the road and struck a red truck fornt of the Valero Gas station. One patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

8:43 p.m. Caller reported a suspect fled Wal Mart with about $100 of merchandise.
