Seekonk Police Log: OUI, Larcenies and Lawn Tearing

March 17

11:37 a.m. Caller from loss prevention at Home Depot reported an unknown male took a wallet from a customer’s carriage.

12:21 p.m. Caller from Sagamore Road reported his mailbox had been vandalized.

11:59 p.m. Joseph Valentine, 42, of 104 Sutton Ave. in East Providence was arrested for alleged operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, reckless operation of a motor vehicle as to endanger and wanton destruction of property. Valentine was arrested after allegedly driving on a lawn and ripping up the loam.

11:51 a.m. Caller reported that her and her neighbor’s mailboxes had been vandalized on Ferncliffe Road.

11:54 a.m. Brandon Arruda, 22, of 1517 Slade St. in Fall River was arrested for larceny over $250.

8:03 p.m. James Holland, 40, of 496 Howard Ave. was arrested for alleged operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated, destruction of property, leaving the scene of property damage (hit and run) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

10:28 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run on Highland Avenue.

March 19

5:23 p.m. Caller reported damage to his mailbox on Sagamore Road.

10:58 p.m. Caller reported someone trying to break into an abandoned house on Case Street.
