Seekonk School Calendar 2018-19: First Day of School, Vacations

SEEKONK, MA — The first day of school in Seekonk is August 28 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Seekonk District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates, such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/12: Aitken Open House
• 9/13: High School Open House
• 9/18: Hurley Open House

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/24 - 10/25: Elementary Early Release (Elementary Parent/Teacher Conferences)

November

• 11/8: K-12 Early Release, 6-12 Parent/Teacher Conferences
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day Observed)
• 11/15: High School Parent/Teacher Conferences
• 11/21: Early Release
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/24 - 12/28: No School (Holiday Break)
• 12/31: No School (New Year's Eve)

January
