When is the First Day of School in Swansea?

School may have just ended, but before you plan that late-summer vacation, you should know when the kids are once again boarding the bus and heading back to school in Swansea.

This year, school starts for most students in Swansea on Tuesday, Aug. 27 - nearly a week before Labor Day. Kindergarten Orientation is Aug. 28 and the first day of school for Kindergarden Students is Aug. 29.

School ends in 2014 on June 13 with no snow days. With five snow days, the final day in 2014 will be June 20.

Winter break for students next year will last between Dec. 23 and Jan. 1 with students returning on the second day of the year. February vacation will be Feb. 17-21 and April vacation will be between April 21 and April 25.
