Lake Massapoag In Sharon Among Waters Under Advisory
Thirteen waterbodies in Massachusetts, including in Plymouth, Sharon and Mansfield, remain closed for swimming due to harmful algae bloom.
SHARON, MA — Lake Massapoag in Sharon is among Massachusetts beaches that are under advisory for cyanobacteria. The algae bloom is considered harmful, according to state officials. Residents and visitors, including their pets, are urged to keep out of the water until further notice.

- Hopkinton Reservoir — Ashland and Hopkinton

- Plunkett Reservoir — Hinsdale
- Round Pond — Hamilton
- Santuit Pond — Mashpee
- Triangle Pond — Northampton
- West Reservoir — Harwich
