Power Out For Nearly A Thousand Sharon Residents
Sharon police reported Tuesday morning that nearly a thousand residents are without power in the area of Pond Street and Massapoag Avenue.

SHARON, MA —Nearly a thousand residents of Sharon are dealing with power outages to go along with the snow and traffic concerns Tuesday morning. Sharon police reported that about 850 customers are without power in the area of Pond Street and Massapoag Avenue.
Sharon police have made a warming room available for anyone who needs assistance at the Public Safety Building, which includes a warm place to watch television, charge mobile devices and use public Wi-Fi.
Those experiencing an outage are asked to call Eversource at 800-592-2000. Sharon police report that roads are messy and very slippery, so please use great caution if you have to drive. A jackknifed trailer caused I-95 South lanes in Sharon to be closed for a time Tuesday morning.

Trash and recycling will also be delayed in Sharon Tuesday because of the snow. And there is no school.
