SHARON, MA — Sharon police have issued a community alert after they say a man tried to lure a teenage girl into his car while she was walking down the street.According to police, the teenager was walking on Massapoag Ave. near Horizons Road around 8:30 p.m. on March 18 when she was approached by a driver asking her for directions.When the girl started to give him directions, police say a white man tried to lure her into his white "muscle car" with a loud exhaust. She immediately ran away and was able to make it home safely, police said, adding that she reported the incident several days later.While the incident remains under investigation, police are asking anyone with information to alert them immediately at 781-784-5692 or email <a href="mailto:reportatip@townofsharon.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">reportatip@townofsharon.org</a>.
